Out west, older fillies and mares are featured in the $250,000 Grade I Gamely Stakes at Hollywood Park. Expected to contend for the prize are Magical Fantasy, Black Mamba, and Foxysoxx who will be taking on the Frankel-trained do of Visit and Tocque de Queda.
On Sunday, also at Hollywood, 3-year old fillies looking to pick up some black type will vie in the $150,000 Grade II Honeymoon Handicap. Field was not set at press time.
